Ron "Riflehorse" Rifkin plays piano, organ, and sings. He also is a songwriter and enjoys improvisation. He has played with numerous local acts, including The Mercury Seed, Blue News, Flying Blind (with former Foreigner Bassist), Fade to Blues, Reality, Thin Ice, and Sol Dog. Ron co-wrote two CDs with Sol Dog. He has played around the East Coast with Cristeen Ohlman (Saturday Night Live), Corky Lang, Mark Epstein (Johnny Winter Bassist), Tyger Macneil (Jose Feliciano Drummer), Charlie Karp (former Buddy Miles Guitarist), Cub Coda, and Johnny Neel.
